The Bible is the authority for Christians. But is it enough to claim, “The Bible says so”? It is, if the Bible actually says so! Scripture can be misinterpreted and misapplied. It has been said that if you take the text out of its context, all you are left with is a con.

Because we aim to be faithful to Scripture, in this class, we will examine the most misinterpreted and misapplied text in their context. What does the Scripture mean when it says, “For where two or three have gathered together in My name, I am there in their midst…” or “I can do all things through Him who strengthens me…” or “Do not judge so that you will not be judged”? In our next equipping class, “Bible Says WHAT?” we will examine these and other texts in their context to understand their original intent and meaning.
